THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Longtime Entergy Texas leader Stuart Barrett has been named the VP of customer service for Entergy Texas. This new enterprise is centered solely on ensuring that Entergy Texas is supplying customers with an amazing consumer revel while also developing the electricity answers to fulfill their wishes these days and into the destiny.

The new customer support crew will provide coordinated attention by integrating customer support, customer support, strength efficiency, and community development all underneath one leader. Before his new position, Barrett served as director of aid planning and marketplace operations for Entergy Texas, which he held considering 2014. In that role, he became answerable for the planning of gas, era, transmission, and wholesale power activities for the organization. Additionally, he became responsible for Entergy Solutions, the multi-faceted energy performance packages designed to reduce fees and power consumption for some of Entergy Texas’ purchaser corporations.
Barrett came to Entergy Texas after serving three years as director of commercial operations inside Entergy Corporation’s gadget-making plans and operations agency. He started his profession with Entergy in 1997, first as an analyst in the accounting branch, then shifting to the finance department’s utility planning group to focus on manufacturing 5-year commercial enterprise plans for the software. Other areas of responsibility included power marketing, energy contracts, strength analytics, cost allocations, and fuel, oil, and energy settlements. Barrett earned a bachelor’s diploma from Louisiana State University and his MBA from the University of New Orleans.
